Kyle Wheatley

I'm a game developer and programmer with a Bachelor's degree in Game Programming and Development. Games have been a lifelong passion — not just playing them, but understanding how they work, what makes them feel good, and how to build the ones I've always wanted to exist.

I'm drawn to game development because it sits at the intersection of so many disciplines — programming, design, art, and systems thinking all at once. Whether it's deep in engine code or crafting gameplay logic, I'm equally at home on the technical and creative sides of the process.

Less than a year out of college, I'm still carving out my path — but my interests pull strongly toward gameplay programming, game tools, AI and NPC behaviour, procedural generation, and the challenge of building multiplayer systems. I'm currently building projects from scratch and documenting the journey here.
